Welcome Leadership and Dogs
We believe dogs are the embodiment of "Welcome". Our philosophy on leadership is founded on dogs being wonderful examples of true servant leadership (Greenberg).
What does "welcome" mean?
Well, welcome is one of those odd words, it's a noun, an exclamation, a verb and an adjective. It's both an instance or a manner of greeting, and an actual greeting itself! Moreover, the word welcome, in Greek, directly translated means, "good boundaries". We believe leaders need boundaries and that the biggest leadership skill lacking in today's world, is having a moral compass. A big statement? Yes, we are not the first to make it, and we'd love to hear from you on ways you think you can help shift things forward.
What does W E L C O M E leadership stand for?
W for Willing to Work on what is Within
E for Empathetic Engagement, (a key here is to look into your Eyes and Face to Face contact)
L for Ludicrous with Love for Learning and Life
C for Caring for Critical Consciousness, Compassionate with Concern in a Circular Connected Community
O for Open Minded about Opinions, the power of Obliging, with Body, Heart, Spirit and Mind
M for Marvel at Human Nature as Art, striving to understand those whose Morality and Mind differ from their own.
E for Existentially Aware that nothing on this planet exists in isolation + (my favorite) Ego must be defeated to effectively lead.
We can prompt the user with how important it is to contact your company. Just a small piece to grab their attention right away. Maybe even add a dog image on the background instead of a plain color?
